TRAVELING IN COSTA RICA

Hola! Lydia and I took another “Sisters Only” trip in March, this time a walking/hiking vacation in Costa Rica. (We traveled with Country Walkers.) As with our other trips, we had to keep pinching ourselves to make sure it was really us walking on suspension bridges above the forest canopy, hiking through the rain forest, seeing lava tumbling down the side of the Arenal Volcano, observing howler monkeys and scarlet macaws in the wild, and thrilling to the famous Costa Rica zip lines. (I loved the zip lines, but the “Tarzan Swing” was another experience entirely. See below for my reaction!)
