VACATIONING IN HAWAII

In March, Bill and I headed off to Kauai with two other couples. The men are golfers, the women booksellers—how great was that?! We stayed at Ben and Kristin Hannah’s FABULOUS surfside vacation home. Alas, Kristin was stuck back in Washington State working on her newest book while she waits for the late June paperback release of The Things We Do for Love, so I entertained myself by calling her on the phone and bragging about all the fun I was having in her house while she was working away. (I’m so mean.) We also visited with Jill Marie Landis (author of upcoming Heat Wave and Heartbreak Hotel) and her husband Steve.
